Lukas Mantovan completed his Bachelor in Musicology and Dance Studies at the University of Salzburg. He is currently pursuing his master’s thesis on the construction of nationalistic music from the allegedly forged Queen’s Court Manuscript in 19th-century Bohemia at the University of Vienna. Prior to focusing on Musicology, he completed pedagogical and artistic instrumental studies (Violin) at the Bruckner University Linz. His research interests lie in the connections between music and society, with a special focus on the mechanics of nationalizing music in 18th and 19th-century Czech and Hungarian music history.
